Interviewer: Today I'm interviewing Doctor Mona Chung. Dr. Chung is the director of Cross Culture International based in Australia and an executive president of Blue Mount, Beijing. I wonder if you could start by describing the challenges being faced by companies in light of the pandemic. Dr. Chung: I'm in a unique position to answer this question from two perspectives. In December and early January I was actually in China. I went through all the lockdowns and the ways that China tried to contain the virus spread. In early February I came back to Melbourne and now in Australia we're going through the same process with the rest of the world. It's difficult to choose the right word to describe it, it's extremely challenging for all businesses. To start with, at the beginning of the year when this all started in China, we saw a situation where China just virtually stopped, there was no business activity and nothing happened, the whole country literally stopped and everyone's job was just to stay at home to combat the virus until such time as people could restart again. Interestingly, China pretty much contained its growth of numbers of patients within the country until very recently, and is now going back to normal in many ways, such as production and many other ways. Now we're looking at the rest of the world who started all this about a month ago, we're looking at Italy and Spain.
